During 2023, the national rate of reported cases of hepatitis A was 0.5 cases per 100,000 population. This ranged from a low of 0.1 cases per 100,000 population in Connecticut, Hawaii, New Hampshire, North Dakota, and Oklahoma to a high of 4.3 cases per 100,000 population in Maine.
