Key points

From 2022–2023, the largest absolute decrease in the rate of reported cases of hepatitis A was observed in Mississippi (decrease of 3.2 cases per 100,000 population) and the largest absolute increase was observed in Kansas (increase of 0.9 cases per 100,000 population).
